Each of the Alcyonix' associates have chaired process improvement interest groups in Montreal, which are part of the international network of Spins supported by SEI. We firmly believe in the importance of maintaining knowledge through exchanges between peers and networking between professionals on questions which are at the base of our mission. Therefore, Alcyonix annually sponsors activities of SPIN-Montreal.

« Trophée Rose-des-sables » Rally - Team « Les Violettes Africaines »

We are often solicited to sponsor various causes but some touch us more than others. Knowing someone who is personally involved in a noble cause often makes the difference.

The following document will inform you on a cause that got our attention. Alcyonix will support the “African Violets” team (document in French only), consisting of Julie Ross and Angèle Brazeau, in their initiative by purchasing the plane tickets that will take them to the 6th edition of the “Trophée Rose-des-sables” rally in October 2006. While taking part in this sporting event we admire their devotion to a good cause. While participating in the rally they will be delivering school supplies to young Moroccan girls and will be promoting their cause across Morocco.

As an individual, you can support this great cause by taking part in various events (shows) or by purchasing products (African Violets). The profits of these sales goes directly to the cause (contact the team members, whose coordinates appear in the promotion document).
